⌄Before this, audience targeting ran through a third-party data platform. I designed and led the build of an in-house, event-driven system that evaluates player segments as behaviour changes, so a campaign can respond the same hour rather than the next week. The vendor was retired once it was live.
It sits at the scale of the network itself: every account, every platform, continuously. The numbers behind it belong to Sony, so they are not on this page.
Back-end services for the PS5 home screen: activity tiles and recommendations, live on day one of the console in November 2020.
⌄Activities are the cards on the PS5 home screen that take a player straight into a mission, a match or a next step without touching a menu. I worked on the services behind those cards and on the recommendations that decide what a player sees.

Built for independent artists, so they could license their own work themselves
⌄This came out of LoveArt, a company two of us started in 2013 while I was doing my master's. Independent artists had two options: sign with a label, or do all the legal and licensing work themselves. LoveArt gave them a third option: keep the rights and let the system handle the licensing. I built the data side: a system where ownership and revenue share live with every item, including derivatives of derivatives, and can be retrieved dynamically by any client. The patent covers that system.
